The present edition namely “Bhāsvatī”, a special volume in the printed form, consists of selected papers in English published in the “Śāstramañjūṣā” section of the online journal “Prachi Prajna”. The volume embraces precious outputs on Indian Śāstric tradition dealing with Structure and Chronology of Ṛgveda, The Vedic Metres, Ecology and sustainability in Vedas, various philosophical ideas like Kāśmīr-Śaivism, Advaita-Vedānta, Tibetan Buddhism & Tantrism. It also presents various critical aspects of Indological research, i.e. prosody, Pāninian grammar and Manusmṛti on the light of content analysis and textual criticism as well. Some papers also deal with modern scientific elements like measurement of weight, types of zinc minerals, astronomy, meteorological description of clouds & environmental issues, etc. Also comparative rhetoric finds its way in some papers. Logical theories like inference, concomitance between proban and probandum are also discussed considerably.
